Some parties aren’t meant to stop when the clock strikes midnight, and Paige Drummond’s wedding to her fiancé (now husband!) David Andersen was one of those occasions. Paige and David had a beautiful wedding celebration on May 17 on Drummond Ranch surrounded by family and friends. After the heartfelt ceremony, dance-filled reception and the wedding cakes (there were two!), the newly married couple and some close friends took the party to downtown Pawhuska to continue the fun at Ree’s P-Town Pizza.

The theme of the after party was Disco Rodeo. A giant cowboy boot sign saying “Paige & David are married! Let’s Party!” was outside P-Town to welcome guests into the event. Mirror-covered cacti and hot pink “tumbleweed” decorated the room, along with colorful lighting and metallic streamers. DJ Oogo from LionsRoad DJ’ed the party, and behind the booth was a backdrop with a cowboy lassoing a sign with the couple’s new shared last name: “The Andersens.” A fun game encouraged guests to find their “cowboy name” using their name and birthday (Paige’s would be “Clinton Trigger Hewitt”) and light-up, sparkly cowboy hats were seen on heads all around the room.

Paige knew she’d want something more comfortable for the after party, so she changed out of her gorgeous Lela Rose bridal gown into a short white dress. “Everyone was on the dance floor, so it was nice to have something more comfortable for that,” she says. She kept her wedding accessories on, though, including her diamond dangle earrings and her sentimental “something blue” sapphire ring from her late grandma, Nan. And of course the look wouldn’t be complete without a pair of cowboy boots! Paige’s were off-white with purple and blue flowers.
