It feels like just yesterday Alex Drummond and Mauricio Scott were bringing their sweet girl Sofia home from the hospital—and now she's six months old and celebrating with the cutest little photo shoot you've ever seen.
Alex shared a set of adorable photos on Instagram to mark the milestone and each one is even more precious than the last. In the pictures, Sofia is dressed in a pink floral romper with ruffled sleeves and a matching half-birthday party hat (complete with a pom-pom on top). She's all smiles, seated next to a swan-themed "6 months"card, and looking like the happiest, chubbiest baby on the planet. It's hard to believe how much she's grown since her first attempt at milestone photos!
"Blinked and this squishy princess is halfway to one," Alex captioned the post. "Wishing I could pause time right here for a little bit. Thank you Lord for our sweet sweet Sofia!"
Ree, of course, couldn't help but gush in the comments (as any proud grandma would). "She is the cutest sweetest loveliest most beautiful gorgeous squishy child I have ever seen in my life," she wrote. "Six months old!!! I love you, Sofia!"
In her first six months, Sofia has packed in a lot of living. She's already attended her very first rodeo, watched her Aunt Paige tie the knot at a beautiful ranch wedding, and spent plenty of time snuggling with her best buddy George. She celebrated Mother's Day and Father's Day with her proud parents, joined in on family holidays, and soaked up some sunshine on her first beach trip. Not to mention, she's gotten pretty cozy with her piano gym and has mastered the art of making everyone around her giggle.
Sofia's smile lights up every photo, and her cheeks (and leg rolls) alone deserve their own fan club. Between Alex's sweet updates and Ree's proud-grandma commentary, it's clear this little girl is surrounded by love—and more than a few adoring fans.
