In case you missed is, Alex Drummond and her sister Paige recently attended a bachelorette party in Austin for their good friend, Langley. They both shared some fun pictures on Instagram stories celebrating the bride in style. While the bride wore white (naturally!), Alex opted for a bright red maxi dress.
The dress definitely made a splash because Alex posted a few days later, "Got lots of questions about this outfit." So, she decided to share the links to everything, and she gave everyone a sneak peek of when they'll probably see it on her next: the 4th of July! "I got this dress from Madewell, and my justification was that I can also wear it for Fourth of July festivities, 🤣" she joked.
In all seriousness though, already knowing a few ways to wear something is a great reason to justify a purchase. It's the perfect shade of red to double as a 4th of July outfit, and even better, Alex says it's "so comfy!" That's just what she needs for what's sure to be a busy and hot day in Pawhuska, where the Drummond family typically gathers for their big annual bash.
Internet sleuths may also recognize another part of Alex's outfit: the chunky cross necklace she found on Amazon recently for less than $15. She's worn it both dressed down and now dressed up, showing just how versatile the pick can be. She completed her outfit with a pair of Sam Edelman block heel sandals (which happen to be on sale, hint hint).
