Can you believe Alex Drummond and Mauricio Scott have been married for four years already? Time flies when you're having fun! It's safe to say a lot has changed since then. They're now settled in Dallas with a fur baby, George, and a human baby, Sofia.
Over the years, Alex has shared memories and details from her special day. She had one regret (forgetting the guest book) and an all-time favorite moment (walking towards her soon-to-be husband). And recently, she revealed her favorite detail, too.
On a recent Instagram story, she was asked: "Looking back on your wedding, what was your favorite detail?" Her answer: "Definitely the flowers 😍."
The genius behind the stunning displays was George Catechis of The Fleuriste in Oklahoma City. Alex envisioned a romantic mix of pinks and blues, and that's exactly what she got. Throughout the ceremony and climbing up the old wooden cross, sprays of ranunculus, peonies, roses, tulips, sweet pea, and muscari surrounded friends and family. The reception tables featured candle-filled topiaries that reached almost six feet in height!
But perhaps the most memorable feature in the reception tent was the dance floor. Wisteria, cherry blossoms, and jasmine climbed up the structural poles and hung overhead, creating an ethereal garden fantasy.
No wonder Alex recalls the floral display as the most memorable detail from her wedding. It's something truly unforgettable! Hopefully, she'll continue to share more as the years go on. Until then, there's still so much swooning over flowers to be done.
