When it comes to travel, Ree is a seasoned pro. Though she spends most of her time at the family’s ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma—and of course visiting granddaughter Sofia in Dallas (okay, she technically goes to visit Alex, Mauricio, Paige and David, too)—she’s also managed to see so much of the United States over the years.
When it comes to the states she’s been to, Ree says, “It’s easier for me to say the states I haven’t been to than the ones I have!” She’s checked off 43 out of 50 states so far, and the only ones she has left to check out are Alaska, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
Looks like a New England road trip is in order! And though she’ll need a flight to visit Alaska, it’s definitely a must-see and she's already well-versed in packing travel outfits. It would certainly be a different morning view than the Oklahoma plains on the ranch, that's for sure.
Though, it can be tricky to visit new places when you find yourself visiting your tried and true favorites when you get a break. Ree loves to visit Vail, Colorado, with her family every New Year (even though she’s more partial to the après ski than the black diamonds).
The next place on her fantasy travel list that she’d love to visit is Charleston, South Carolina, where Paige hosted her bachelorette party—and where Ree’s favorite guilty pleasure reality show Southern Charm takes place. But you'll just have to stay tuned to see where Ree travels next. (Hint: She has a new book coming out, so she'll probably go on tour!)
